Addams Family Ensemble Costume Info Sheet

Hey Spark Theatre Ensemble! We are so incredibly excited to create this spooky, kooky, and magical show with you. Bringing the world of the Addams Family to life is a team effort, and we want you to feel confident and amazing in your character's look. 

To help make this process super smooth, we’ve put together a step-by-step guide and important dates. Please read through carefully—and remember, we are here for you every single step of the way! 

THE BEST NEWS FIRST!

  • No Costume Fee! We are completely waiving the costume fee for this production. 

  • Let’s Double-Check First: To save your budget and make sure your pieces are perfect for the stage, please send us ALL links or details before you hit "buy." We’ll give you the green light! 

DATES FOR YOUR CALENDAR

  • Sept 18th OR Oct 3rd – Makeup Tutorials 

    • What to do: You are required to attend one of these fun sessions! 

    • Prep: Please purchase the specific makeup set we send out before your tutorial. You can also head over to our website for awesome "How-To" resources! 

  • October 3rd – BASE Costume Due 

    • What this is: This is your foundation! Think bottom layers and larger pieces like shirts, pants, skirts, dresses, coats, capes, and corsets. 

  • October 24th – FINAL Costume Due 

    • What this is: Your show-ready look! This includes your approved base pieces plus all the fun final details and accessories. 

YOUR 6 EASY STEPS TO COMPLETION

  1. Saturday, Sept 5th: See Mrs. Beth to get your assigned character and fill out your required costume form. We can't wait to see who you'll be playing! 

  2. Get Inspired: Send in or collaborate with Mrs. Beth on a fun vision board, ideas, or pictures so we can approve the general vibe. 

  3. Go Hunting: Start thrifting, ordering, or borrowing your approved pieces. 

  4. Show Us Your Base: Snap a picture of yourself wearing your base costume and text/send it to Mrs. Beth at [Insert Text/Contact Info Here]

  5. Team Check-In: Check back for friendly feedback from the costume department on your base pieces and any accessories you might still need. 

  6. The Grand Finale: Send in a final photo of you in your complete costume for ultimate final approval!
