Learn about famous artists and their work
Circle Time: Each morning our students will gather for circle time where we will discuss the calendar, have sharing time, and review our letter and number of the week among other things. Learning letters and sounds, numbers and concepts will be incorporated in music, art, and theatre.
Dance: Students will take dance and creative movement classes where they will learn technique and be encouraged to explore movement and be creative.
Theatre: Children will join in our musical theatre class on Thursdays with Miss Michelle to learn the basic of performing arts. Students will have the opportunity to learn excerpts from our season productions like Cinderella, Jungle Book, and more. They will be included in our year end showcase and will have opportunities to perform in presentations throughout the year.
Music: Music is one of the best teaching tools there is for young children. Children will learn concepts through music, be introduced to basic music theory and solfege, and learn to enjoy and identify various instruments and musicians.
Art: Each week students will be exposed to famous art and will be able to participate in hands on art projects. We will incorporate what the children are learning into their art projects. When children have hands on experience they will better retain what they are learning.
