Great Dress Rehearsal today! Call time for Thursday morning is 8:30 a.m. Please come in full make -up with hair done. Bring a snack for between shows.
Individual pictures will be taken between shows on Thursday. Picture cost is $25 which include show and individual pictures.

WE ONLY HAVE ONE MORE REHEARSAL UNTIL SHOWTIME!! Costumes are coming together and we are all getting excited!

Several of the kids are missing the appropriate SHOES. They must wear jazz shoes or boots. Students should have had jazz shoes this whole semester. If you would rather purchase a pair of boots at this point that is also acceptable. They need to not look too modern. EXAMPLE CLICK HERE

HAIR updates:
Actors playing girls in the show need to have natural stage makeup including; foundation, blush, shadow, eyeliner, mascara and neutral color lipstick and their hair should be worn in styles similar to picture below (if in doubt wear hair half up and half down and curl ringlets at the sides)

Actors playing farmers and cowboys need to wear no make up (some powder is ok if you feel it necessary, and chap-stick is fine too). Girls playing farmers or cowboys must have hair braided and tucked under so the audience doesn’t see it.

Dear Spark families,
We are reaching out to you tonight to make you aware of a policy change at Spark. We are at capacity (read-bursting at the seams;) on Tuesdays. We really need your support in keeping our lobby cleared. This will be especially important this week as we are costuming for our shows and will be our policy from here on out. There are many times that we need to use the lobby for classes to take snack breaks while other rooms are occupied or where small groups will come out to block scenes. During dismissal on Tuesdays there are so many bodies that we really need to keep things as clear as possible for safety reasons. In order to take better care of our students and to ensure their safety, we are asking that parents and siblings of students not wait in the lobby. Please plan to drop off and pick up your children. There are several parks, restaurants, and places to shop nearby. We appreciate your support and cooperation on this matter.

When: First Day of Rehearsal is August 27th
Where: Classes will be held at Spark located at 21610 Highway 249, Houston, 77070. (Near 249 and Jones Road-we are in the same building as 24 hour Fitness on the back right side between Home Depot).
What to Bring:
Please bring a snack, and water bottle labeled with your name. There are no drinking fountains at the studio.
Please wear modest clothing that is comfortable to dance in. No short shorts or spaghetti strap tank tops.
Students will wear black jazz shoes throughout the rehearsal process and for performances. Jazz shoes can be purchased through Fancy Dancer or at Academy.
We comply with the Tomball ISD dress code.
Parent Meeting: We will be having a mandatory parent meeting Sept. 3rd at 12:05 p.m. Please do not miss this meeting even if you have participated before. We are always striving to improve and try new things. We want everyone to be on the same page!
Communication: We will be communicating through the "Remind" app. Please download this app on your phone if you have not already. Updates will come through text. You will then be directed to the homepage for your show. You can find your homepage by clicking on our login button, then look for your show and cast. Click on the name of your cast. To join the Oklahoma H/S Remind group, send the message, @422224 to the number 81010. We will be posting all communication to the show pages on our website.

**If you are interested in learning more about becoming a cast mom, please contact Monica Warren via email; monica.warren@earthlink.net.
She will be your first point of contact for any questions you may have. She will send information out to the cast. She will also coordinate tech and show week volunteers.
Tuition: Tuition is due by the 5th of every month. We require that our students sign up for auto draft unless other arrangements have been made. If you have entered payment information online, you are signed up for auto draft and your payment will come out automatically. A note from, our Team: It is our highest priority that your child gains confidence, learns to love the arts, and has fun! Please keep an open line of communication throughout the semester about your child. We are here to help them to be their best self.
Volunteer Sign Up: We do not require volunteer hours but we do encourage you to get involved! We would like each parent to complete this questionnaire. Signing up shows interest but does not commit you to anything. We will reach out to you when the need arises.

Yeehaw! Congratulations to all! I am so excited to start this production. Great work to all who auditioned! This show is going to be so much fun! I am double casting a few parts and those actors will have to keep an off night track as well as their names part. -Dana
